Saturday's Critters #86

Saturday's Critters #86

It's Saturday and it's time to share your critters.. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in on this week's critter party. And of course I always appreciate my blogging friends stopping by just for a visit and leaving a comment.

I am sharing some more critters from our visit to Cape May on July 6. Most of these images were taken while walking on the trail at the Cape May Point State Park.

I just fell in love with these cute Killdeer Chicks.

The Killdeer chicks were running in front of us as we walked on the trail in Cape May.

The American Oystercatcher is a cool bird and one of my favorites to see at the shore.  I hope you enjoyed my critters and post. As always thanks again for linking up, for the nice comments and for visiting my post. I wish everyone a happy weekend!

Thanks to Tex Theresa aka Tex, I was able to add this link up button and thanks to  Jennifer for creating my photo badge.

  20. Cute Kildeers. They are probably one of the first birds my children learned to identify when they were small as they watched the 'broken wing' act in the field across from our home.

  54. Nice variety of critters. I love the killdeers. Like to watch them run. They remind me of little road runners. : ) We have quite a lot of them around here.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I like the butterfly, and the Killdeer chicks are so adorable, especially the part about them running down the path ahead of you. I would love to see some, so I like yours. I'm wondering if they are like the plover chicks that forage for themselves even when small.

    ReplyDelete
  56. My, you "catch" so many critters! Love the chicks!

  59. Wonderful critters you share with us, except for the snake - I am not a fan. I live in New Zealand where there are no snakes, but we do have Oystercatchers (not the American ones) and they look different, but similar enough I know they are related.
